16 Sept 23 Excellent place, very friendly staff. We stopped off to swim, went to see the young lady in reception, very helpfull. Hot shower after then coffee, chips and cake ( dogs allowed ). We even filled our 10L tank with fresh water.
It was so good we went back on the 17 Sept 23, same routine.
A few people about having fun in the water and eating in the cafe.
You will need to book if you want to carry out an activity or use the accommodation.
Had a great day out at Galloway Activity Centre. We took part in Archery, the Water Slide and an afternoon of climbing. The archery and the climbing were brilliant and the instructors for each (Tom and Andy respectively) were welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The water slide was a bit of a let down, a 90 minute session (less getting into wetsuits!) was far too long for us. The instructor was great again and did try to introduce some variety with an attempt at a ball game but there’s only so many ways you can go down one water slide! The food on offer was basic but well priced and hit the spot at lunch time. All in all a great day out, would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
Excellent day out!
Great fun on the inflatables was had. Good instructor with the group at all times - safety is taken very seriously here
Good café available prices are very reasonable.
Lots of activities offered. Excellent value for money.
Did the archery experience. Was great fun. Something else ticked off my bucket list. Have to give a mention to Tom, think we were his 1st clients. Very nice and friendly and we had a laugh, he's going to do well.
Just back from an amazing pre-Xmas break here in Dec 23. We booked on a bit of an impulse to get away from xmas stress and had an absolutely amazing time. We stayed in Red Kite which was extremely cosy and festive and enjoyed the experience of a winter hot tub immensely. We booked an archery session and had Rob all to ourselves for a great 90 min session (he was great with our 8 yr old). The site was quiet as you'd expect at this time but we'll definitely be back and would urge others to go at this time too as was a lovely festive treat.
This stunning centre has so much for children and adults in a stunning location on Loch Ken.
Lots and lots of activities as advertised also log cabins in place for a rural escape.
fabulous array of activities
We visited here with a disabled client and had the best day. Rob was fantastic and spent the whole day with us making sure everything was fine and safe and accommodating to our needs. We did a number of activities. Can't fault anything, was a fantastic experience, would highly recommend.
We had an absolutely fantastic time here.
We did archery in the morning and paddle boarding in the afternoon. Both were great family activities and April our instructor was absolutely superb - great with kids and adults alike.
The paddle boarding was excellent and ran at a speed that we were comfortable with and included a gentle trip around the lake including a visit to the island.
It's a fantastic place and ask the staff are super friendly and helpful.
We had lunch at the café - which is very basic but the toasties and cake were enough to keep us going until the afternoon.
Highly recommended!
